WHY BUY LINCOMYCIN + SPECTINOMYCIN + BROMHEXINE (LSB)
At the Alpha Agventure Farms, we don’t inject antibiotics to pregnant ruminants (e.g., cattle, goats, and sheep) with colds and flu unless we have no choice but to save the dam over her fetuses. This is because the developing fetus is highly sensitive to external influences, including medications.
Here are three reasons why you should inject Lincomycin + Spectinomycin + Bromhexine (LSB) to non-pregnant ruminants with colds and flu:
- Respiratory Infections: Lincomycin and Spectinomycin are antibiotics commonly used to treat respiratory infections in goats.
- Mycoplasma Infections: Mycoplasma is a type of bacteria that can infect goats, causing respiratory issues and other health problems.
- Mucolytic Action: Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent that helps in breaking down and clearing mucus from the respiratory tract, making it easier for the goat to breathe and recover from respiratory infections.
Injecting antibiotics during pregnancy can potentially harm the developing fetus, leading to developmental abnormalities or other complications. If your gestating or pregnant cattle, goat, or sheep has colds and flu, we do not recommend administering Lincomycin + Spectinomycin + Bromhexine (LSB).
