Guinea Fowl

WHY BUY OUR GUINEA FOWL

Our bengalas, wild birds from West Africa (locally known as bengala or benggala in the Philippines), serve as farm security guards, alerting us to unfamiliar faces or unusual events. Their loud calls deter rats, acting as natural insect repellents. Compared to chickens, guinea fowls offer leaner, more flavorful meat with higher protein, lower fat, and fewer calories. Their eggs are also rich in vitamins A, E, and D3. Easy to breed like chickens, these omnivorous birds are valuable additions to your farm.

HOW WE RAISE GUINEA FOWLS

At the Alpha Agventure Farms, we ensure the quality of our breeders through our Housing Program, Breeder Selection Program, Egg Selection Program, Incubation Program, Brooding Program, Feeding Program, Immunization Program, Growing Program, Laying Program,  and Disease Management Program.

OUR GUINEA FOWLS ARE VACCINATED

Our Guinea Fowls are vaccinated against the Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Infectious Bursal (IB) or Gumboro Disease.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use your Guinea Fowls as breeders?

There’s no blood-relatedness between the guinea hens and guinea cocks. The two guinea cocks could be blood-related with each other but they’re not blood-related up to fifth degree to the eight guinea hens. In the same way, the eight guinea hens might be blood-related with each other but they are not blood-related up to fifth degree with the two guinea cocks. So, insofar as inbreeding is concerned, it is avoided with our gendered package.

Meanwhile, the full sexual maturity of a Guinea Fowl is met once it reaches 8 months. Expect a few possible phenotype (physical appearance) changes on your Guinea Fowls once they reach 8 months.

Do you deliver anywhere in the Philippines?

Everything we sell is strictly for pick up at our designated pick-up zone at Block 7 Barangay San Manuel, Tarlac City.

If you can’t pick up your Guinea Fowls, we advise that you hire an animal transporter.

If you need our help in searching for an animal transporter, we can help you with that. Just let us know your exact address and your exact order so we can get a quote and a schedule of delivery from an animal transporter. However, accept the fact that the Guinea Fowls are no longer our responsibilities once they are in the hands of the animal transporter.

Can I pick the Guinea Fowls up tomorrow if I pay today?

If there are no other orders ahead of yours, the minimum waiting period is up to seven (7) calendar days. We still have to delouse, deworm, and administer bacterial flushing to your Guinea Fowls so you won’t have to do these standard operating procedures.

Will you teach me how to raise Guinea Fowls if I buy from you?

You can take advantage of your 15-minute free technical consultation on us. If you have more questions past the 15-minute free consultation, you can avail yourself of our Guinea Fowl Consulting Service to learn our entire farm practices when raising Guinea Fowls.
