BUY HYBRID OR UPGRADED CATTLE
The Ilocos Cattle, Batangas Cattle, Iloilo Cattle, and Batanes Black Cattle are four recognized breed types of the Philippine Native Cattle. The Philippine Native Cattle breed is relatively small, with adult bulls weighing approximately 400 kg and mature cows weighing around 300 kg. We know that it’s quite hard to find a literally native version of this cattle nowadays due to inbreeding. So, we’ve decided to infuse the bloodline of Girolando, Holstein, Brahman, and Indu-Brazil cattle in our Philippine Native Cattle to produce our version of a hybrid or upgraded cattle.
HOW WE RAISE OUR CATTLE
At the Alpha Agventure Farms, we ensure the quality of our cattle through our Housing Program, Cattle Production Managements, Cattle Breeding Program, Breeder Selection Program, Feeding Program, Health Management Program, Biosecurity Program, and Health and Disease Management Program.
HEALTH PROGRAM FOR OUR CATTLE
Our hybrid cattle are dewormed quarterly and fed quality roughage weighing at least 4% of their body weight on a dry matter basis. We also delouse them as often as necessary.
